TalentWorld is recruiting a Strategy Director for one of its valued partners within the creative, digital, and brand marketing space. This is a newly created, senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape and operationalize corporate and business strategy within a highly dynamic, insight-driven organization.
This role will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth, strengthen competitive positioning, and translate market intelligence into actionable strategies that deliver measurable business and brand impact.

This opportunity is ideal for a strategic, insight-led agency leader with deep experience connecting brand, performance, and digital ecosystems to drive long-term growth.

What’s in it for you?
This is a full-time, permanent role based in the Mississauga area with a hybrid work model (three days in office, two days remote). Compensation starts at $120,000 annually plus bonus, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Strategy Director Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise-level corporate and business unit strategy in partnership with executive leadership
  • Assess growth, investment, and market opportunities to support long-term organizational objectives
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor, providing clarity, discipline, and agility across the business
  • Translate consumer, cultural, and market insights into clear strategic narratives and frameworks
  • Develop strategic points of view, briefs, and measurement frameworks that inform creative and commercial outcomes
  • Build and maintain trusted senior-level client relationships, positioning the organization as a strategic growth partner
  • Lead strategic input for pitches, RFPs, and new business opportunities
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking, curiosity, and creative excellence across teams

Strategy Director Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in strategy or account planning within an advertising or digital agency
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (social sciences, English, strategic communications, or related fields)
  • Experience within technology, consumer electronics, communications, or digital ecosystems
  • Strong confidence presenting to senior clients and executive stakeholders
  • Deep expertise in consumer research, insight development, and strategic storytelling
  • Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, visually compelling presentations
  • Experience working across multichannel platforms, including brand, digital, retail, and influencer strategy
  • Strong understanding of how brand and performance marketing intersect in modern digital environments
