- Repairing and maintaining shop machinery and equipment.
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
- Keeping the workshop clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Handling materials, lifting items, and assisting with assembly tasks.
- Stocking shelves and managing inventory of parts and supplies.
- Supporting skilled technicians with hands-on project work.
- Following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
- High school graduate (Grade 12 or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a natural interest in how things work
- Hands-on experience using basic hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Previous workshops, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial work experience
- Experience reading basic blueprints, schematics, or equipment manuals
- Formal training or certification in a mechanical field is considered an asset
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., Forklift, WHMIS) are considered an asset
- Class 5 driver’s license and own transportation are a strong asset
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to provide two professional references
- Able to start immediately
- Schedule: 7:30AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday
- The location: Barrie, Ontario
