TalentWorld is recruiting a Director of Sales for one of its valued partners. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to build and scale a high-performing sales organization across Ontario within the commercial security technology and integrated video monitoring space. You will lead regional sales strategy, manage and develop a team of Account Executives, and drive growth across key verticals including construction, transportation and logistics, critical infrastructure, retail, and commercial office environments.

This opportunity is ideal for a strategic, entrepreneurial sales leader with experience building hunter-style teams and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver strong customer outcomes.

What’s in it for you?
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Ontario, combining in-office and field-based work. Travel within Ontario (approximately 20%), including occasional overnight stays and evening meetings, is required. The compensation includes a base salary of $125,000–$175,000 plus bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Director of Sales Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve company revenue, growth, and profitability targets
  • Conduct market analysis and regional travel to identify priority markets and target customers
  • Build, hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team of up to 12 Account Executives
  • Direct prospecting and new customer acquisition strategies, including cold calling and outbound sales activity
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and professional development to drive motivation and selling excellence
  • Apply consultative selling and strategic account management practices to support complex sales cycles and proposals
Director of Sales Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of professional sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, including team building and market development
  • Experience within electronic security, commercial security technology, or integrated video monitoring environments is strongly preferred
  • Proven success selling into construction or infrastructure-related verticals
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leading change and scaling sales operations
