- Build high-quality roof and floor trusses from blueprints and specs.
- Operate tools and machinery like saws, nail guns, and presses.
- Perform quality checks on materials and finished trusses.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets.
- Load, unload, and organize materials to maintain workflow.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Be adaptable and willing to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of experience in truss assembly, framing, or carpentry
- Forklift certification is a strong asset
- Proficient with hand and power tools (saws, nail guns, drills)
- Able to read blueprints and use tape measures accurately
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for full shifts
- Must have steel-toe boots and a hi-vis vest
- Able to pass a criminal record check
- Able to provide 2–3 professional references
- Able to work either 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday to Thursday or 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday to Thursday
- Able to start Mid-February 2026 (may change depending on business need it could start earlier)
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, either 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Monday to Friday or 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday to Thursday
- Location: Rocky View County, Alberta (area near Costco Balzac)
- Type: Contract
- Hours: 40-44 hours per week
- Compensation: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM shift: $23.00/hour (no shift premium) and 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM shift: $24.00/hour (with shift premium)
- Additional Info: Possibility of extension; overtime available
