In this position, you will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of precast concrete products, conducting testing activities, maintaining inspection documentation, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards
Shift / Schedule
- Shift based on business requirements
- Days or afternoons
- Overtime as required
- Base salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year
- Full health and dental benefits
- Vacation starting at 2 weeks
- RRSP plan (employee may contribute at any time; company matching begins after 6 months of continuous service)

Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of precast concrete products per engineering specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Conduct plastic concrete testing and laboratory testing
- Maintain inspection records and technical documentation for products, materials, and equipment
- Maintain and control the integrity of inspection and testing equipment
- Communicate effectively with production and supervisory teams
- Identify and report product or process non-conformances
- Identify and report health and safety hazards
Quality Assurance Inspector Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- ACI Grade 1 Field Testing Technician certification (or equivalent)
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and take-offs
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials, reinforcement, and formwork
- Understanding of applicable industry standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive, positive working attitude
