Director of Sales & Operations
TalentWorld is recruiting a Director of Sales and Operations (DTC) for one of its valued partners, a well-established consumer technology organization recognized for its innovation in security and connected device solutions.
In this senior leadership role, you will lead revenue growth across Direct-to-Consumer and retail channels while overseeing sales, merchandising, marketing collaboration, customer service, and operational execution. This role plays a key part in shaping commercial strategy, optimizing performance, and delivering an exceptional end-to-end customer experience.

Director of Sales and Operations Responsibilities

Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies across DTC and retail channels to drive sustainable growth

Lead sales forecasting, target setting, KPIs, and performance management across sales and operations teams

Oversee merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies in partnership with Marketing and Product teams

Ensure operational readiness across eCommerce platforms, fulfillment, customer service, and sales support

Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive data to inform go-to-market initiatives

Drive cross-functional initiatives focused on revenue growth, efficiency, and customer experience

Partner with Supply Chain on inventory planning, forecasting, and sell-through optimization

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture

Manage key external partners, agencies, and service providers
Director of Sales and Operations Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA considered an asset

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, operations, or commercial roles

Proven success driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth across DTC, eCommerce, and/or retail channels

Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex, multi-channel operations

Strong understanding of pricing, promotions, merchandising, and performance marketing

Solid operational knowledge including inventory management, order management, and P&L oversight

Analytical, data-driven leader with strong communication and influencing skills
-
Experience with CRM, ERP, and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce, SAP) considered an asset
