Security Systems and Alarm Technician

We are recruiting a Security Systems and Alarm Technician to join our team at GardaWorld (Mississauga). This role involves overseeing and coordinating security and alarm systems across our branches throughout Canada.
Responsibilities – Security Systems and Alarm Technician

• Manage technicians’ travel arrangements and work schedules
• Supervise security projects for GardaWorld branches across Canada, including new constructions, renovations, relocations, site changes, and acquisitions
• Manage the Canadian camera network: ordering, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of cameras and recorders, as well as server maintenance and configuration
• Manage branch access control systems in compliance with municipal regulations
• Manage alarm systems for vaults and Canadian branches
• Conduct security audits of branches by verifying the proper functioning of physical and technological equipment and preparing audit reports
• Purchase required equipment for various projects and ensure proper billing

• Technical diploma or relevant technical experience in Electrical work (an asset)
• Mandatory experience with security and alarm systems
• Availability outside regular working hours
• Strong IT knowledge
• Ability to travel across Canada
• Excellent organizational and structuring skills
• Strong management skills

• Permanent position
• Location: Montréal
• Salary: Competitive, between $70,000 and $80,000, plus car allowance
• Annual bonus
