Director, Non-Emergency Patient Transport

In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic and operational oversight for patient transport services, leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transportation for patients. You will work closely with healthcare partners, government stakeholders, and internal leadership to strengthen service delivery, optimize performance, and support patient care at scale.

The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year and is specific to candidates located in Ontario. Compensation will be determined based on your experience, leadership scope, and demonstrated competencies, with opportunities for growth as the organization continues to expand.

- Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring high standards of safety, accessibility, and service quality
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations
- Lead business and operational strategies to improve efficiency, control costs, and enhance service delivery
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, transportation standards, and organizational policies
- Lead, coach, and mentor operational leaders and frontline teams to drive engagement, accountability, and performance
- Monitor operational metrics, financial results, KPIs, and reporting to support continuous improvement
- Represent the organization with external stakeholders and act as a trusted internal and external partner
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare logistics, patient transportation, or operations management
- Demonstrated success in operational leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing budgets and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, service-driven environments
