Accounting Manager – Public Practice Responsibilities
- Lead and review assurance and compilation engagements across a diverse client base, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are consistently met
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax filings while identifying tax planning opportunities and ensuring CRA compliance
- Mentor and guide junior accountants, supporting their technical and professional development
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive insights and strategic financial guidance
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of ASPE, Canadian tax legislation, and public accounting standards
Accounting Manager – Public Practice Qualifications
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of experience in public practice
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and tax regulations
- Experience managing engagements and leading teams
