MIG Welder – Precast Concrete Production
Location: Puslinch, ON
Pay: Starting at $34.65/hour
Shifts: Must be available for day, afternoon, and night shifts (straight shifts)

About the Role:

We’re hiring MIG Welders to join a busy precast concrete manufacturing facility in Puslinch. In this position, you’ll support a variety of production tasks to ensure products are made safely and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and weld concrete forms

  • Install inserts and remove excess concrete from moulds

  • Assist in cutting and placing rebar wire

  • Operate hand and power tools (measuring devices, trowels, etc.)

  • Support machine operators handling concrete materials

  • Perform concrete finishing and stencil application

  • Remove finished products from moulds and conduct quality inspections

  • Clean and maintain moulds, equipment, and work areas

  • Occasionally assist with cleaning inside concrete mixers (requires fitted mask)

  • Work is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks


What We're Looking For:

  • A team player who can also work independently

  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Reliable, punctual, and available for all shift types

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing quality work

  • Must be clean-shaven if working in the mixer (due to fitted respirator requirements)

  • Safety-focused with a strong work ethic


Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (no transit access; site safety requirement)

  • Previous construction or heavy industrial experience is an asset

  • CSA-approved work boots that cover the ankles and a welding helmet (PPE provided otherwise)

  • Ability to work in a dusty environment (not suitable for those with dust allergies)

  • No jewelry permitted anywhere in the facility
