Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with Transport Canada standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
- Certify aircraft for return to service following repairs and inspections
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, logs, and work orders
- Research and order materials for defect recertifications as required
- Communicate task completion to ensure seamless workflow between teams
- Promote workplace safety and adhere to all environmental, health, and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior technicians as needed
- Transport Canada AME License (M, S, or E) preferred
- 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including Dash 8 or CRJ aircraft (asset)
- Diploma or degree in Aviation, Aerospace, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems and diagnostic tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexible to work rotational weekday shifts (Monday–Friday)
- Able to provide 2–3 professional references upon request
