Sanitation Worker – Food Manufacturing (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Newmarket
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Employment Type: Temporary with possibility to become Permanent

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our food manufacturing team on a temp-to-perm basis. You will play a key role in keeping production areas, equipment, and workspaces clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of production lines, equipment, and work areas.

  • Follow GMP, HACCP, and company food safety protocols.

  • Maintain sanitation logs and records accurately.

  • Dispose of waste properly and ensure materials are stored safely.

  • Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

  • Assist production team with any additional cleaning-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of food processing and sanitation procedures.

  • Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, coffee, or similar environments preferred.

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and safe handling procedures.
