This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys conducting market research, defining product strategy, working closely with suppliers and internal teams, and guiding products through the entire lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in ensuring products remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with the company’s growth goals.
Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate clear product strategies that support both short-term objectives and long-term vision.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, evaluate competitors, and uncover new product opportunities.
- Gather and interpret customer feedback to guide product enhancements and future development.
- Create and lead go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional planning.
- Prepare effective sales enablement materials such as presentations, datasheets, and case studies.
- Support product training, pre-launch activities, and internal rollout communications.
- Define, track, and report on product KPIs including revenue, margin, adoption, churn, and satisfaction.
- Use analytics and business intelligence tools to evaluate product performance and recommend improvements.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, maturity, and phase-out.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to source new products and support procurement needs.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to address product-related issues and ensure a positive user experience.
Product Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- More than 5 years of product management experience with proven success across diverse product portfolios.
- Experience in consumer electronics or related markets is preferred.
- Strong passion for electronic products, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-focused, data-driven approach.
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and departments.
- Native Mandarin speaker with fluent English, able to communicate effectively in meetings and written correspondence.
Employment Details:
- Location: Markham, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Status: Full-time, Permanent
- Compensation: $70,000 annually + benefits
- Language: English and Mandarin
