Job title: Visual Merchandising Technician/Merchandiser

We’re hiring multiple Merchandisers/Visual Merchandising Technicians for short-term assignments across the Greater Vancouver Area and Vancouver Island. Over the next few weeks, you'll help refresh retail spaces—executing planograms, organizing inventory, and creating engaging product displays.

TalentWorld is recruiting a Visual Merchandising Technician/Merchandiser in Greater Vancouver Area, BC, for one of our partners.

Responsibilities
  • Stock and arrange products on shelves to meet high visual standards.
  • Set up displays by accurately following detailed planogram guides.
  • Assist with store upgrades, including the dismantling of old physical cash registers and the installation of new ones.
  • Perform light inventory tasks to keep products available for customers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, using provided safety gear.
  • Complete a variety of hands-on tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience in retail, merchandising, warehouse, or general labor
  • Experience reading and following planograms
  • Ability to consistently lift to 50 lbs. and meet the physical demands of the role
  • Familiarity with basic inventory systems or retail technology
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and accuracy
  • Steel toe boots required
  • Ability to work either morning shift (starting at 6:00 AM)
  • Availability to work a minimum of 6 hours per shift, with the possibility of shifts extending to 6,8 or 12 hours depending on business needs.
  • Able to start as soon as possible

  • Hourly Rate: $20/hr
  • Schedule/Shifts: Starts at 6am schedule ( Week of December 8 to December 18,2025)
  • Compensation: Weekly pay
