Our client is hiring a highly skilled and bilingual Senior Financial Analyst with a CPA designation to join their provincial finance team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting operations across the province, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Acting as a trusted business partner to leadership and operational teams, the Senior Financial Analyst will help drive efficiency, profitability, and informed decision-making at the regional level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a business financial partner with various branches and internal departments within the province

  • Build and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to help management understand financial performance

  • Liaise with the month-end team to review and analyze financials and monthly reporting packages

  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of the annual budget process for provincial operations

  • Support operations by carrying out analyses and continuous improvement projects to enhance profitability and cost efficiency

  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and make data-driven recommendations

  • Participate in RFP submissions, quotes, cost-price and profitability analysis, and client bidding processes

  • Manage finance-related tasks such as acquisition-integration, labor relation modeling, and provincial client invoice reconciliations

  • Handle pricing strategy for major RFPs across the province and oversee annual bill rate increases for top clients

  • Compile and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in management presentations and prepare financial documentation for audits and client submissions

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

  • CPA designation required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance or FP&A role

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and strong skills with PowerBI

  • Experience working with large dataset consolidation and integration

  • Strong analytical ability with proven success improving business processes

  • Dynamic, proactive, and methodical with strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment

  • Business acumen with strong problem-solving and advisory skills

  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
