TalentWorld is recruiting Operations Officer I, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Operations and Business Services function. You'll be responsible for executing a broad range of operational tasks and transactions, from general to specialized, while adhering to established guidelines and procedures. Your keen attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines will be crucial in maintaining high service quality and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to critical projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing our operating model and service delivery.

Talentworld is recruiting an Operations Officer I for one of its clients in Mississauga, ON.

Operations Officer I Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute transactions accurately and promptly according to established guidelines and SLAs. Ensure all transactions are processed within designated timeframes while maintaining a high level of precision.
  • Identify and address processing or operational issues efficiently. Utilize your solid understanding of operational procedures to refer or escalate issues to the appropriate function or partner for resolution. Ensure timely resolution to uphold service quality standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements and participate in initiatives aimed at optimizing our operating model.
  • Collaborate with internal partners by providing support for incoming transactions. Validate information as necessary to perform adjustments within authority levels. Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless transaction processing.
  • Interact with partners by responding to requests in an effective and timely manner. Demonstrate strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach in all interactions to meet partner needs effectively.
  • Contribute to the analysis and reporting of critical projects or special initiatives. Provide valuable insights and assistance in strengthening our operating model, processes, and service quality.
Operations Officer I Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in operations support or similar roles within the financial services industry is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive continuous improvement.
Employment Details:
  • Salary: $20.05 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
  • Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Mon - Fri (8am - 4pm).
