Program Manager (ERP Implementation) Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to define the project scope, establish implementation strategies, and ensure adherence to best practices throughout the ERP deployment lifecycle.
- Assume leadership responsibility for the overall program, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution, with a keen focus on schedule adherence, budget management, and quality assurance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication and coordination between the client, project teams, and third-party vendors, facilitating alignment of objectives, resolution of issues, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, detailing key milestones, resource allocations, and dependencies to enable effective tracking and reporting of progress against established timelines and deliverables.
- Exercise diligent oversight of program finances, including budget forecasting, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis, to ensure financial objectives are met within approved parameters.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and obstacles to program success, employing robust risk management strategies and fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with ERP implementation partners and other external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and mutual accountability for project outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and transparent communication to senior management and project stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project status, challenges, and achievements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, coupled with at least 7 years of demonstrated success in project management roles.
- Proven expertise in ERP system implementations, with a comprehensive understanding of ERP principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex project environments and drive solutions to completion.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis, including experience with budgeting tools and techniques.
- Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively managing stakeholder relationships and resolving conflicts diplomatically.
- Salary: Competitive salary based on experience (Canadian experience required)
- Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid, Contract.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Location: Toronto
