Mechanical Maintenance Millwright Responsibilities
 
  • Delivering mechanical and technical assistance to the production line to uphold the production of top-notch finished goods at maximum efficiency.
  • Machinery repair, component replacement, and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
  • Maintaining awareness of potential hazards inherent in your role and adhering to requisite safety protocols are crucial.
  • The position involves working 12-hour continental shifts.
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 25 kgs individually and up to 50 kgs with assistance.
  • Proficiency in shoveling heavy waste to shoulder height is required.
     

Mechanical Maintenance Millwright Qualifications
 
  • Possession of an Ontario Millwright License 433A is required.
  • Minimum Grade 12 with additional post-secondary education in a mechanical or technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of substantial heavy industrial experience, completion of a recognized Apprenticeship program in Canada, or a college degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and the ability to interpret Engineering Drawings are essential.
  • Flexibility to work overtime with short notice is expected.
  • Must own high-quality tools suitable for performing routine tasks.
