Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities
  • Offer crucial electrical assistance to our production line, prioritizing peak production rates and superior finished products.
  • Provide timely response to production staff inquiries, swiftly identifying and resolving issues.
  • Participate in proactive maintenance efforts, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Utilize drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to guide industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Perform installation, inspection, replacement, and repair of electrical components, wiring, and fixtures.
  • Execute testing and maintenance procedures on electrical and electronic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot, rectify and upkeep various electrical control systems and associated devices.
Maintenance Electrician Qualifications
  • Maintain a current Ontario Industrial Electrician License.
  • College Degree in a technical discipline, preference for electrical, computer, or electronics fields.
  • Accumulate 5 years of relevant industrial experience or completion of an Apprenticeship program in Canada.
  • Display expertise in installation and programming, particularly focusing on VFD drives, servo drives, PLC controlled Automation, motor control circuits, and industrial instrumentation.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive grasp of the Ontario Electrical Code.
  • Demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting abilities and a proactive problem-solving approach.
