TalentWorld is recruiting Operations Officer II in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.

Operations Officer II Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily tasks related to RESP and RDSP products, including processing contributions, withdrawals, transfers, and grant investigations. Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Efficiently run and manage macros on a daily basis to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Positively contribute to the overall customer experience by handling customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving problems promptly. Utilize established problem resolution processes and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners involved in RESP and RDSP operations. Collaborate effectively to resolve issues and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain operational effectiveness to meet business objectives, Service Level Goals, and Customer Experience Index (CEI) targets. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of RESP and RDSP products, regulations, and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners as a subject matter expert within the defined area.
Operations Officer II Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the financial industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including creating spreadsheets, running Macros, using Pivot Tables, and performing V-lookup functions.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications: intermediate coding with VBA in Excel, experience with money market deposits and loans, and knowledge of RESP and RDSP products.
Employment Details:
  • Salary: $22.41 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid (2 on-site, 3 days remote)
  • Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm  
  • Location: Toronto, ON
