TalentWorld   is currently looking for reliable candidates for  Manufacturing Engineer   positions.

 

The   Manufacturing Engineer will troubleshoot equipment and process as well as help improve production line productivity with the use of tooling, layout, lean manufacturing, visual management and ergonomic improvements. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for using technical skills and knowledge to implement design improvements for existing product sustainability and manufacturability, as well as support the development of project specific design applications.The working environment is clean, fast paced and this is an exciting opportunity to grow with a well known organization.

 

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities

 

Support new product implementation.

Machine system design and installation.

Create and implement equipment and work cell layouts.

Conduct work flow analysis and implement improvements in material handling and shop layout.

Identification of manufacturing process improvements to existing process including a cost benefit analysis to allow senior evaluation and approval.

Determine root causes for failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in design, tolerances or processing methods to avoid re-occurrences.

Develop and monitor time standards and productions efficiencies.

Works with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, productions schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production process.

Perform other duties as required.

 

Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications

 

Able to lift up to 30 lbs

Able to stand for 8 hour shift

PLC Programing Knowledge

AutoCAD Knowledge – capable of developing 2D layouts

Must have CSA approved Safety shoes and safety glasses.

 

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection.   Loose fitting clothing and jewellery are not permitted, as they pose a health and safety risk

Physical requirements include: the ability to bend and twist at the waist, knees and neck; stand and walk for extended periods of time; lift up to 30 lbs.

Location: Alliston, ON

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
